Managing your orders

The order management for sellers is similar to the buyer's order management, but with some additional features. You can manage your orders on the Order History page.

This will show you all the orders made for your storefront and their current status, and you can also chat with the buyer or arbiter regarding an order.

Under View Details, you can see the details of the order, the order events (payment, confirmation, dispute, etc.) and actions you can take.

Order Summary

The order summary will show you all the relevant information regarding the order.

Decrypt Message

The most notable difference between the buyer and seller order details is the "Decrypt Message" section. This is where you can decrypt the shipping details if the buyer sent them using Hermes-ETH.

To decrypt the message:

  1. You should be connected with the same Ethereum account you used to set up the storefront encryption
  2. Enter your decryption password and click "Decrypt Message"
  3. Sign the "Signature Request" with your wallet.

You should now be able to see the shipping details and the raw decrypted message.

Order Events

A timeline of the events for your order. This will show you what has happened and when. For example: the payment event, a settlement event (confirmation), a dispute that was opened, etc.

Order Actions

Depending on the order status, you may be able to issue a refund, settle the order (if the buyer hasn't confirmed in time), etc. As always, don't forget to sign the transaction with your wallet.

Chat

Make sure you're connected to XMTP to activate the chat feature. (Click on "Enable Messaging" in the top right corner of the page)

Click on the chat icon, next to order you want to chat about. There's a tab for the buyer and another for the arbiter.
